Часто сокращаются и отрицательные формы глаголов to be (are not и is not), to have (has not и have not) и to do (do not и does not):
They aren't there. — Их там нет.
He isn't at school. — Он не в школе.
She hasn't a car. — У нее нет машины.
Don't they know ? — (Разве) Они не знают?
Doesn't he wait ? — (Разве) Он не ждет?
